Lead Solutions Architect Operator & Data Center Networking
We are looking for a senior-level technical solutions architect to take overall responsibility for our Operator and Data Center Networking technical domain in Finland.
This role combines technical architecture ownership, technical pre-sales leadership, vendor collaboration (primarily Nokia), consulting involvement, and team leadership. You will act as the key technical authority in operator and service provider networking while leading a team of skilled engineers working across consulting, support, and pre-sales.
This is a highly visible role internally and externally, with significant impact on business development, customer success, and strategic vendor relationships.

What we expect
You are a senior networking professional with strong capabilities and deep experience in operator and service provider environments.
Strong experience in Operator and/or Data Center networking
Proven experience in technical pre-sales and large tender work
Experience leading engineers or technical teams
Strong customer-facing communication skills
Ability to balance technical, commercial, and delivery perspectives
Experience working closely with strategic vendors (Nokia experience is a major advantage)
Finnish and English language
Certifications (Highly Valued) Capability to acquire Nokia SRA certification as it is particularly significant for the business
Nokia Network Routing Specialist I & II (NRS I & II)
Nokia Service Routing Architect (SRA) – highly valued
Nokia Datacenter Fabric Professional / Expert
Your Role
Architecture & Technical Ownership
Own the technical direction for Operator and Data Center networking
Design solutions for service providers and large infrastructure customers
Validate technical designs, proposals, and vendor solutions
Ensure architectural consistency across projects and customers
Act as escalation point for complex technical challenges
Technical Pre-Sales Leadership (Major Part of the Role)
Lead technical work in large tenders and customer proposals
Translate customer requirements into scalable, feasible architectures
Prepare and deliver technical presentations, workshops, and solution discussions
Support sales in opportunity qualification and solution positioning
Build and validate solution concepts before proposal submission
Plan and execute Proof-of-Concept (PoC) activities
Act as trusted technical advisor for key customers
Balance technical feasibility, commercial constraints, and delivery reality
Consulting & Delivery Involvement
Participate hands-on in selected architecture and consulting projects
ISP and Data Center network design projects (testing, PoC, HLD/LLD documentation)
Peering, transit, and service provider networking topics
Support complex troubleshooting and architectural decisions when needed
Vendor Collaboration & Portfolio DevelopmentAct as primary technical interface toward strategic vendors (primarily Nokia)
Support product selection and solution matching for tenders
Provide technical sparring on product capabilities and roadmap
Support pricing and solution structuring together with vendor teams
Coordinate vendor technical support during tenders and projects
Contribute to portfolio development and technology strategy
Ensure alignment between technical scope, delivery capability, and commercial expectations
